“UNESCO Patrimony - The Industrial Village since 1995”
Visiting the Industrial Village of Crespi d’Adda means reading a page of our social, economic and industrial history, through the testimony of a perfectly conserved village.
Crespi d’Adda is the best preserved Italian “Company Town”, founded in the phase of industrialization of the territory of Bergamo in the second half of the 1800s.
Interesting is the route along the perpendicular streets of the Village with various types of buildings perfectly in order and distributed, according to an organic plan in which the functional and social aspects of the buildings play a primary role.
